Genuine Nikon ES-1 Slide Copying Adapter
When using in conjunction with the Micro 55mm f/2.8 lens or AF Micro 60mm f/2.8 lens (Note: Autofocus is not available), Nikon ES-1 enables you to easily and accurately duplicate any mounted 35mm original slide. By attaching ES-1 directly to the lens, either same size or magnified copies are possible. An original slide can be inserted vertically or horizontally; it can also be moved sideways and rotated. ES-1 can also be used with Nikon R8 Super Zoom (with the Close-up Attachment Lens EC-1 attached).
Attaching to the lens with Micro 55mm f/2.8
When the lens is used in the normal position: First, attach the extension ring or bellows unit between the lens and camera body. Then screw ES-1 into the front of the lens.
When the lens is used in the reverse position (via BR-2A ring): Attach the adapter ring BR-3 to the back of the lens. Then screw ES-1 into BR-3.
Attaching to the lens with AF Micro 60mm f/2.8
When the lens is used in the normal position: First, attach the extension ring or bellows unit between the lens and camera body. Next, attach the marco adapter ring BR-5, then screw ES-1 into BR-5.
When the lens is used in the reverse position (via BR-2A and BR-5 ring): Attach the adapter ring BR-3 to the back of the lens. Then screw ES-1 into BR-3.
